Block level of casinos

In general, Whiii.com is the backbone to multiple sites that run on WordPress. The sites that are powered by Whiii have built-in functions in the backend of WordPress making tasks such as pricing, comparing of different values such as bonuses on casino related sites and much more. We also have deployed a “blacklist” -function, that is integrated on each site managed by Whiii do the FAQ casino affiliates in general can have issues and delays in payments from some affiliate programs, the only option is to remove the casino from any listings until the issues of payments of commissions are solved.

Three level blacklisting code

We use Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) on all our templates and sites and can truly recommend ACF for well as professionals as well as newbies who are fresh to coding!

Using ACF we have integrated a tree level blocking system for affiliate programs who fail to pay commissions on time or who in other matters are considered roughed. By using a singular radio-button on the reviews and pages, we can now by just checking that button make shore the casino is not listed on any of our lists. We have also added some other futures, allowing us to do much more than just block the casino from been visible on any listings.

Here are some of the key features of our tree level blocking system:

Level 1 block

As mentioned, as soon as we hit that radio-button on a review, the casino will be removed and not listed on any of the hundreds if not thousands of different type of lists we have. Instead of needing to remove a casino page-by-page from a HTML table or similar, we use a single line of code just under the loop looking like this:

Do stuff here

The code above checks if there are any casinos that have a value in the field “blacklist_casino” resulting in “do nothing” if there is a value there. This is the basic code needed to use if you feel you want to have something similar on your site. The code above works also with tags if you are not using ACF.

Level 2 block

Our next level of block, has an additional recovery fee added to it. The amount depends on the outstanding commissions that are do-date and is a way for us to cover the time consumed on the matter. In general, the recovery fee is a symbolic gesture from the casino and obviously a way for us to cover the time spent on this matter.

Level 3 block

If we need to add a casino to a block-3 level blacklist, an additional change in the review of the casino is made. We will update the review, by removing all out links (trackers) pointing to the casino and also add a “we currently do not recommend XXX for our visitors” An additional carousel containing 4x recommended casinos instead of XXX is also added to the review.

The recovery fee from a level-3 block from our sites, bringing the casino back to both listings and having the normal review back is not so easy and comes with a high cost! We easily talk about several of thousands of euros and can ensure the casino will most likely not accept nor pay this recovery-fee.

Whilst to be honest, a casino who are added to a blacklist, no matter the level of it, has done something wrong and if the case is unpaid commissions, we do not take this lightly! Additionally, the level-3 block if left unsolved by not showing an interest in paying the recovery-fee will with almost an guarantee, result in no more future partnership on any of our existing sites as well as upcoming new sites.

We have two decades of experience in the casino affiliating -fields and aim, to do this, at least two more decades.

Currently, we are using this block level function on Kasinot 2023 and Uudet nettikasinot 24h. If you want consultation or perhaps a copy of the codes we use, please send us a message.
